9:00: Breakfast snacks, coffee, refreshments
9:20: Welcome and brief 2019 Illinois Odonate Survey updates
9:30-10:20: “Dragonfly Ontogeny: From Egg to Imago,” Marla Garrison
10:30-11:00: “The Windshield Effect,” Allen Lawrance 
11:10-11:40: “The Girl with the Dragon(fly)Tattoo,” Cindy Crosby
11:45-12:30: Optional activities.

Activity 1: Photography Tips! Taking photos of odes can be quite challenging! Facilitated by Cindy Crosby and Ana Youngberg. Bring your photography questions or tips to share.
OR
Activity 2: Odonate identification help! Do you have photos of odonate species that have stumped you? Do you have questions on how to distinguish species that look similar? Bring in your photos and questions and Jim Phillips of the Cook County Forest Preserves will help you with your odonate identification questions.
OR
Activity 3: Enter your data! We’ll have some laptops/tablets ready so if you need a little guidance entering data on PollardBase bring your field forms and we can help get you started.
